Our communities are designed for public sector professionals to create and take part in conversations that are topical to their key objectives.

**The Department**
The sponsorship team at PSN is responsible for identifying, engaging and securing vendor partners for PSNs portfolio of community programs, along with several custom initiatives we offer. The sponsorship team drives all revenue for PSN and ensures efficient delivery of client projects and assists clients with long term strategic planning.

**The Position**
Business Development Executives are responsible for the planning and implementation of sponsorship and partner activities for their communities - including community program sponsorship and activity and developing custom initiatives with clients (i.e., custom webinars, roundtables, podcasts and bespoke events). They will also be responsible for the co-planning, development and management of sponsorship strategy (working with the Vice President of Sales and Partner Relations) and for the day-to-day management of sponsorship activity and activation.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**
- Sales Pipeline Reporting - use HubSpot (after initial onboarding and training) to manage pipelines and report back to management on results
- Social Media - maintain a relevant and appropriate presence to support sales activities
- Inquiries - engage vendor inquiries effectively and provide responses within 24 hours
- Community Meetings - actively participate and engage in community meetings to provide insight to current vendor pipelines and assist with overall community strategic planning

**General Duties include**:

- Actively support the Company’s social purposes at work
- Be a positive part of the Company’s culture and help it grow
- Bringing new ideas to the table, raise any problems promptly and openly listen to (and support) the ideas of others

**Requirements**:

- 3 - 5 years demonstrated sales experience in a B2B environment
- Ability to identify and generate qualified leads relevant for managed communities and overall business
- Strong track record of retaining key clients
- Ability to navigate CRM software and tools
- Experience creating B2B client proposals
- Overall positive attitude and proactive sales mentality
- Stay up to date on market intelligence relevant to PSN communities
