Business Development Executive

Trane Technologies, a leading innovator in sustainable heating and cooling solutions, seeks an ambitious Business Development Executive to drive revenue growth in the Ottawa market. As an experienced professional with a passion for building strong customer relationships, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.
Job SummaryThis is a remote opportunity within Ottawa, requiring daily territory travel and occasional overnight stays. You will be responsible for generating budgeted sales, managing mix and pricing to achieve margin goals, and growing market share in assigned territories.
Your primary focus will be on developing and executing account-specific business plans to identify long-term mutual support requirements, facilitating strong, profitable, and successful partnerships.

- Ascertain market opportunities and market sales data
- Attend sales meetings and report sales activity, new account development, services, promotion, etc.
Total Target Cash represents a mix of fixed base salary plus payment from sales commissions. Sales commissions plans are uncapped plans. Estimated annual salary: $85,000 - $115,000 based on performance and industry standards.
