Our client, Simpson Print, has an opportunity for an Inventory and Quality Control Specialist. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role is responsible for the effective completion of all inventory orders, organizing and maintaining inventory for various clients, following and implementing quality control procedures in order to best service our clients and working along side finishing operators to input inventory into our control system.

Inventory Accountabilities:_**
- Manage/organize Inventory Dockets at the production level
- Checking for discrepancies of stock levels on shelves versus in the control system
- Maintaining the inventory database within the control system
- Organize and maintain physical inventory on shelves for various clients
- Shipping for specific parts from stock
- Maintaining/organizing the weekly delivery box system
- Assisting the Director of Operations with consolidation and organization of stock and locations within the facility
- Stay up to date and engaged on training within Accura, focusing on the inventory control system
- Has accountability for the inventory of numerous brand-name clients

**Quality Control Accountabilities**:

- Checking product as it is pulled from stock
- Following standard Quality Control Procedures for all pulled stock
- Suggestion and Implementation of Quality Control Procedures
- Maintenance and calibration of weigh scale
- Quality Control definition and documentation
- Participates in the resolution of customer complaints; assisting CSR’s

**_Qualifications:_**
- A degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field would be an asset, but is not a requirement.
- Certifications in inventory management or quality control (e.g., APICS CPIM, CQE) would be advantageous.
- Proven experience in inventory management and quality control, preferably in a similar industry.
- Familiarity with inventory control systems and software (e.g., Accura).
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and databases.
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures and standards.
- Ability to operate and maintain equipment like weigh scales.

- **Communication Skills - **Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with the Director of Operations, finishing operators, and clients.
- **Adaptability - **Willingness to stay updated with training and adapt to new inventory control systems and procedures.
- **Team Collaboration - **Ability to work alongside finishing operators and assist the Director of Operations in various tasks.
- **Client-Focused - **Dedicated to providing excellent service to clients by ensuring high-quality inventory management and control.
