Job Overview

Certified Testing Systems (2009) Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance/Control Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our services meet the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Create, maintain, and update company quality documentation, such as quality manuals and procedures.
  • Assist General and Operations Manager in establishing, implementing, and maintaining the quality management system.
  • Provide communication directly with the customer to develop and supply components meeting or exceeding customer requirements.
  • Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system.
  • Improve QA inspection processes and procedures.
  • Maintain equipment calibration reports.
  • Verify and maintain training records for NDE/NDT employees electronically and on paper.
  • Organize inventory of RT/UT/MT/PT equipment.
  • Perform monitoring in RSO documentation.
  • Receive, distribute, collect, and request dosimeters/badges.
  • Determine failure, corrective, and preventive action for customer complaints.
  • Manage overall activities and outgoing quality functions.
  • Prepare reports for Quality Assurance.
  • Evaluate candidates for specific positions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and other quality-related documentation.
Requirements

We require a post-secondary NDE/Quality Assurance/Control diploma or related education. Two years of experience is required in quality assurance functions and non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques, including magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonics eddy current, radiography. Familiarity with ASME Code, MS Office, operating and quality assurance reports, safety procedures for radiation sources, ISO/IEC 17025:2017, NRCan, and technical documents to report inspection results.

Location and Salary

Kitchener, ON. $32.50 per hour, 30 hours weekly, Monday to Friday day shift. Permanent position. Benefits include dental care, extended health care, on-site parking.
