Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Conduct inventory/cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels
- Perform location auditing and reports, verifying accuracy of system locations
- Improve methods and procedures of managing inventory levels at user locations.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, makes corrections and create necessary reports
- Maintain inventory in correct locations and in an organized manner
- Respond with a sense of urgency to meet the needs of key stakeholders
- Take steps to correct and prevent discrepancies. Report roadblocks and process failures.
- Ensure that all inventory control/stock adjustments are accurately documented and processed daily
- Analyze inventory reports, historical data, use velocity and movement reports based on ABC categories to optimize Inventory levels.
- Provide Director -Supply Chain with inventory analysis reports and monthly performance profiles
- Root cause analysis, trained with and understanding how to champion shortages, and prevention. Escalate to planning, shortages as a result of cycle counts, understand MRP
- Work with Engineering to correct bill of materials and routing inaccuracies.
- Natural problem solver when monitoring, maintaining and improving inventory accuracy & efficiency
- Provide assistance to Quality Assurance when necessary (rec inspection, ISIR/PPAP, MRB)
- Champion cycle count schedule, trackers, log and maintain CAs. Assign root cause codes, graphing data, analyze trends in discrepancies.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs, where required when counting.
- Other duties as assigned.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Post-Secondary education in Logistics and/or Supply Chain is preferred or 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Specific courses within Inventory Control is an asset.
- Computer skills required: MS Office Suite, Outlook, Excel and experience in MRP environment.
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings for the purpose of material identification.
- Fork lift, reach truck experience is an asset.
- Self
