Quality Assurance Specialist

(**“BizLink Canada”**), is located in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, and provides custom designed cable solutions for the Industrial and Healthcare markets.
We are currently looking for a **Quality Assurance Specialist **to join our Kitchener, Ontario team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Realization of customer specific requirements.
- Involvement in the optimization of cables and cable assemblies for production, quality and cost.
- Handling internal non-conformances, 8D reports, corrective actions, and follow-up meetings.
- Identify key problem areas and spearhead local problem-solving strategies to minimize defects and maximize production output.
- Coordinate non-conforming material and key resources for root cause and failure analysis.
- Communicate quality issues with suppliers and issue Supplier Corrective Action requests.
- Conduct internal process control auditing.
- Perform routine inspections and quality tests.
- Lead the company's calibration program.
- Prepare and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Make recommendations for improvement.
**Required Knowledge and Experience**:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical of other related technical field.
- Certificate in quality assurance is considered an asset.
- Minimum 3 years of QA experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Experience use of basic electrical testing equipment.
- Proficient in quality analysis tools such as 8D, 5Why, SPC, and others.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Teamwork and support of colleagues and internal customers is a must.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint are required.
- Ability to multi-task.
