**Put your expertise in the spotlight**
As the Director of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our residence show opportunities worldwide. Your primary responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of leads, establishing strategic relationships with partners, and negotiating successful agreements. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, strong collaboration skills, and a deep understanding of market trends and customer needs.
**Responsibilities**:
**Lead Relationship Management**:
o Manage a portfolio of leads and establish strong relationships with potential and established partners.
o Define the scope of potential projects and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
**Deal Negotiation and Business Modeling**:
o Define business terms, develop business models, and negotiate agreements to successful closure.
o Work closely with the financial analysis team to develop P&L and business models, ensuring a positive return on strategic investments.
**Proposal Generation**:
o Oversee the generation of proposals to prospective clients, collaborating with marketing, creation, and production teams to create compelling and competitive proposals.
**Market Research and Analysis**:
o Utilize market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities.
o Use data-driven insights to inform business decisions and capitalize on market developments.
**Risk Assessment and Mitigation**:
o Assess and mitigate potential risks associated with business development activities.
o Implement effective risk management strategies to safeguard the organization's interests.
**Reporting and Governance**:
o Provide regular reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders on business development progress and results.
o Follow governance and protocol associated with business committees and contract management.
**Strategic Opportunity Identification**:
o Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including new product or service offerings, geographic expansion, and market diversification.
**You possess the following professional and technical skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in business development, strategic partnerships, and negotiations.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and at all levels of the organization.
- Results-oriented with a track record of achieving business development targets.
