Business Development Leader, Guaranteed Wealth Solutions

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to lead the growth and expansion of our Guaranteed Wealth Solutions business.
Reporting to the Head of Distribution, Sales, Individual Insurance, you will be responsible for promoting all guaranteed investment products using a solutions-based sales approach. Your success will be measured by the closure of new sales, the establishment of new relationships, and the strengthening of existing ones.
- Achieve ambitious sales targets and annual production goals through effective sales strategies and relationship building.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with financial advisors, providing them with valuable insights and ideas to expand their business.
- Collaborate with the internal sales team to promote new sales opportunities and develop professional relationships with other Manulife partners in the field.
- Develop and share sales, marketing, and business expansion strategies and best practices to drive growth and profitability.
- Proactively manage relationships with key advisors and intermediaries, providing training and support to ensure successful sales outcomes.
- Implement business expansion plans, organize meetings and dynamic sales seminars to drive sales growth and revenue.
- Contribute to marketing support strategies and new sales ideas for advisors to enhance their sales capabilities.
About the Role:
- Pursue three years of experience in selling investment products with an in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and capital markets.
- Participate in the sale of guaranteed investment products through one or more of the following entities: MFDA and IIROC, broker-dealer network, banks.
- Hold a valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned regions or territories.
- Completion of the Investment Funds in Canada course from the Canadian Securities Institute or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC).
