HR Assistant

**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in our software systems
- Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire documentation and coordinating orientation sessions
- Manage and update employee information, including contact details, job titles, and employment status
- Assist with basic payroll tasks, such as data entry and verification of timekeeping records
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and general payroll questions
- Coordinate employee training sessions and maintain training records
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs
- Support the offboarding process, including exit interviews and the collection of company property
- Provide administrative support for HR team and partners
- Schedule vacation requests
- Work with our website host to update any new items required on the site
- Prepare HR reports and presentations as needed
- Support the organization of employee engagement activities and events
- Assist in managing the company’s social media accounts by posting updates, responding to comments, and helping to develop content
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree or certificate in HR
- Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role is an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with basic payroll processes is desirable
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Punctual and arrives to work on time
