Office Administrator/bookkeeper

**Nichol Electric **is a Victoria based Electrical contractor that focuses on Residential, Commercial and Marine electrical. Nichol Marine is a division of Nichol Electric that builds and installs custom docks around Vancouver Island and the adjacent Gulf Islands. Both have been in business since 2008.
We are looking to hire a full-time administrative person to handle the day to day of the office. This person will be responsible for:
- Answering phones
- Scheduling work/setting up customer appointments
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Day to day bookkeeping including but not limited to deposits, bank reconciliations and year end preparation for the accountant
- Payroll
- Typing of estimates
- Handling customer’s requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Updating and maintenance of the website
- Running social media accounts
- Ordering supplies for the office and the shop
- Setting up work orders and customer PO’s
Must know how to use and be proficient in Quickbooks desktop, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe
Must have a valid driver’s license.
The working hours and start/end time are negotiable. Company provides health benefits. Wage to be negotiated on experience.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
