We are seeking a dynamic and organized professional to join our team as an Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator to support our mission of empowering students from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
**Position Overview**
As the Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator, you will manage and streamline the admissions process, serve as a point of contact for prospective families, and actively promote the school’s offerings. You will provide outstanding customer service, handle administrative tasks, and assist with student recruitment to meet enrollment goals.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Recruitment & Outreach**:
- Develop and implement strategies to attract local and international students.
- Represent the school at promotional events, fairs, and external recruitment opportunities.
- Build relationships with educational agencies, consultants, and feeder schools.
- Manage the school’s recruiters.
**Customer Service & School Tours**:
- Serve as a welcoming and knowledgeable point of contact for prospective families.
- Conduct personalized tours of the campus to showcase the school’s facilities, programs, and community.
- Respond to inquiries from prospective families promptly, providing accurate and compelling information.
**Admissions Process Management**:
- Conduct interviews with prospective students and families to assess alignment with the school’s mission and values.
**Administrative Tasks**:
- Maintain accurate records of all applicant data and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Generate reports and analyze admissions data to track progress and identify trends.
- Coordinate and organize admission-related events, open houses, and orientation sessions.
**Collaboration & Marketing Support**:
- Work closely with the Admissions Director to set and achieve enrollment targets.
- Assist in creating and updating marketing materials and online content related to admissions.
- Provide feedback to improve marketing and recruitment strategies based on applicant insights.
**Student Support & Integration**:
- Offer guidance and support to students and families during the admissions process and their integration into school life.
**Qualifications**
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in admissions, recruitment, customer service, or administration within the education sector. International student recruitment experience is an asset.
- **Skills & Knowledge**:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with admissions, marketing and data management software is a plus.
- Knowledge of the Ontario education system, IB program, and sports programming is advantageous.
- Cultural sensitivity and a proactive approach to solving challenges.
