Cobra Electric Interior Services LP is offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Operations Assistant. Based at our Kelowna office, you will play a key role in supporting our operations and report directly to the General Manager.

Cobra Electric Interior Services LP is a comprehensive electrical contracting company that specializes in providing maintenance services for the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure across the Southern Interior of British Columbia.

What you bring:

- Successful completion of an Office Administration Certificate
- A post-secondary education in accounting, office administration, or a related field or equivalent experience is preferred
- Proficiency in computer systems specifically Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- A basic understanding of the accounts payable cycle and fundamental accounting principles
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to continued learning and professional development
- Capability for meeting tight deadlines and effectively managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Previous experience in the construction industry is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team with mínimal supervision
- Experience in building and fostering relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and customers
- An ability to take initiative, displaying creativity and delivering exceptional quality of work
- Possess exceptional organizational and administrative abilities

This role involves a range of job duties, which include, but are not limited to:

- Assist in organizing and reconciling timecards before submitting them for payroll processing
- Perform general data entry and maintain a working file management system
- Track purchase orders, process invoices, and manage accounts receivable
- Conduct monthly account reconciliations within your assigned area of responsibility
- Receive and distribute invoices and ensure document and process control is maintained
- Answer phone calls and liaison with the corporate office and call centre
- Greet and assist all visitors and callers promptly
- Scan and file documents in a timely manner
- Provide exceptional administrative support to the management team and operational crews by means of problem resolution, technical assistance, clarification of procedures, preparing meeting agendas, recording meeting minutes, and assisting in the development of new working/document procedures

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
