- The Police Training Officer (PTO) Information Coordinator coordinates the PTO Course and District Placements of Trainees and is also responsible for information management and dissemination. Primary responsibilities include:

- Ensure course is represented across the Districts and support training gaps.
- Support Human Resource (HR) staffing meetings and ensure placement deadlines are followed and HR movement orders are completed.
- Review Trainee Coaching Training Reports and prepare statistics for Recruit and PTO performance meetings.
- Archive all documentation for every trainee including Prescriptive Training Plans (PTP).
- Facilitate the end of PTO program evaluation for each trainee and distribute the feedback forms and follow up on missing documentation.
- Review feedback and schedule interviews with trainees who received a PTP and/or remediation.
- Monitor and maintain databases and records to support strategic planning.
- Input data into the dashboard and support the PTO Sergeant with preparing reports and briefings.

**Qualifications**
***A 2-year diploma and a minimum of 3 years of experience; OR a degree and a minimum of 1 year of experience.

- Intermediate with MS Office including Excel, power apps and dashboards is considered an asset.
Previous experience with systems, processes and databases such as InTime, Training Partner or similar software programs is also considered an asset.
Success in this position requires effective communication skills, efficiency and thoroughness, service orientation, stress tolerance and teamwork. The ability to build relationships and maintain a strong focus on results.
