Position Summary:
Join an exceptional team where you will pay a pivotal role in supporting the success of the Office of the CAO/Bursar.

As the Administrative Coordinator in the office of the CAO & Bursar, you will have a unique opportunity to contribute to supporting the success of our students and our College by providing administrative support to the CAO/Bursar’s office including, the leadership team.
Key Responsibilities: Supports the CAO in managing all meetings (ensures preparation for any carry forward action items) and in documenting and following up on resulting action items, as appropriate.Coordinates, arranges, and oversees travel, event planning including programing and catering as required.Handles sensitive and confidential matters relating to the daily activity of the department and/or organization.
- Provides administrative support by coordinating and preparing Board materials and presentations, including collecting, collating, formatting, and distribution.
- Provides leadership and support for administrative functions across the department such as expense reporting, maintenance of electronic and paper filing systems, supporting recruitment and coordinating interviews, purchasing, website management, facility and planning with vendor appointments, monitoring work orders and electronic inventory management.

**Educational and Experience requirements**:

- Three-year Diploma or Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, in Business Administration or an equivalent.
- A minimum of five years’ progressive experience in an administrative role, in an environment where diverse people and situations are encountered daily; experience in a senior management or executive environment would be an asset.
- Demonstrated familiarity with managing broad ranging, sensitive issues, understanding their implications and developing practical solutions to address them.
- Experience in dealing effectively with community members, stakeholders, staff, and students with sensitivity to issues of diversity.
- Experience with board protocols, policies, by-laws, governance, and related legislation.
- Progressive administrative, financial and project management experience in a large, complex environment.

**Skills and Attributes**:
Has a deep experience and knowledge of the administrative function. Anticipates administrative needs of the department and contributes to improving administrative structure, processes, and procedures, as required
- Microsoft Office computer skills with expertise in Teams, Word, Excel and Power Point and the initiative to use emerging technologies is required.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and conflict resolution skills are required.
- Highly developed organizational skills and proven ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication (oral and written) skills with the ability to develop positive working relations across multiple departments.
- Demonstrated leadership in delivering excellent service to others as this is key in supporting the success of our students and our College.
- Ability to work extended hours periodically as required.
