**Your Impact**
As Regional Sales Manager you will promote and sell Samuel Automation Solutions Group solutions, products, and services to manufacturing companies within specified geographical regions, market segments and/or targeted accounts, as assigned.
**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Surpass annual sales targets and approved margin levels through proactive efforts.
- Cultivate and manage a dynamic sales funnel by daily updating the company's CRM (Salesforce) with potential clients, prospects, and opportunities.
- Establish and sustain a robust network of contacts within relevant market segments to construct a revenue-generating sales pipeline.
- Strategically secure and oversee key/major accounts for comprehensive management.
- Gain access to executives at the C-Suite level within target clients, particularly in large multinational organizations.
- Engage clients on a technical level to comprehend specific needs, presenting viable solutions accordingly.
- Provide well-founded recommendations on bids to Management.
- Collaborate with Applications, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to devise and present optimal solutions for clients.
- Develop personalized strategies for identifying and qualifying potential clients, utilizing methods such as cold calling, leveraging personal and professional networks, and engaging with existing or prospective clients.
- Nurture robust and lasting relationships with customers, vendors, and distributors, showcasing dedication through the planning and execution of projects ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Act as the company's representative at external events, traveling to meet with customers and partners to cultivate essential connections and contributing to marketing initiatives where appropriate.
- Maintain high-level customer satisfaction through direct contact and coordination of internal company resources
- Ensure that Samuel ASG is consistently positioned as a reputable automation solutions provider partner
- Writing of proposal documents with input from the Applications department.
- Demonstrated effective negotiation and strong closing skills; knowledge and experience in negotiation of contractual terms and conditions; initiate or coordinate responses to contract issues
- Participate in the opportunity hand-off from Sales to Project Management, staying in touch with the project progress and customer after-order
- Expedite the follow up with customers to measure their ongoing satisfaction in accordance with the Systematix Customer Satisfaction Survey process
- Participate in the marketing activities of the business via various media, trade show or other initiatives
- Contribute to the company’s sales planning and strategic planning process Develop a Personal Sales Plan for the territory, to be approved by Management

**Key Requirements**
- College or University degree in an engineering or business related discipline preferred
- Direct sales experience and proven track record of selling high dollar automation solutions and systems
- Demonstrated “Hunter” mentality when it comes to identifying prospects and turning them into clients
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years automation industry experience
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years sales experience
- Must have a valid passport and driver’s license, as well as the ability to travel to customer sites both locally and internationally
