We’re looking for a** Unit Claims Manager - Onboarding and Employee Experience (12 Month Secondment/Contract)** to join our growing team

At Intact, we believe that a great onboarding and employee experience sets the foundation for success. We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Onboarding and Employee Experience Unit Manager to join our team.
Location can be Dartmouth, Dieppe or St. John’s.
Please note that this role will require you to work in-office where applicable and between the hours of operation of 9:00AM to 5:00PM AST, depending on incubation structure and schedule.
**What you’ll do here**:
- Collaborating with Talent Acquisition with all recruitment related activities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive on-boarding program for new hires.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure a smooth on-boarding process.
- Support and guide new employees by answering questions, shadowing, and reviewing completed transactions during new hire incubation.
- Collaborate with the Customer Experience Consultants and Training Consultants to co-lead in-class activities, provide feedback, and manage performance.
- Partner with other business units to identify Onboarding needs and establish long-term post-Onboarding support.
- Create and maintain engaging employee orientation materials
- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture through employee engagement initiatives
- Continuously evaluate and improve the employee experience based on feedback and data.
**What you bring to the table**:
- Previous experience in on-boarding, employee engagement, or related roles.
- Proven leadership skills including ability to motivate, engage and coach staff.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of best practices in on-boarding and employee experience.
- A passion for creating a positive and welcoming work environment.
- Proven time management, efficiency, and organizational skills.
- Solution-oriented with a focus on efficient and effective decision making.
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.** **Need to interact on a regular basis with an English-speaking clientele and colleagues across the Atlantic provinces.
