**About the role**

We’re looking for a Unit Claims Manager, Image Appraisal, to join our growing team

**What you'll do here**:

- Manage a team of Image Desk appraisers and ensure that they are properly evaluating electronic auto physical damage appraisals.
- Ensure appraisals are completed with proper repair methods, pricing and in a timely fashion
- Directs and coordinates the activities to achieve quality and compliance objectives of the repairs performed by the vendors, in accordance with Intact policies and in compliance with Intact standards and procedures.
- Act as a resource person by providing support to Image desk estimators and various Intact resources to answer their questions.
- Provide training and technical support to employees by keeping up to date on software and techniques used.
- Increase the efficiency of his sector by participating in the development of analyses and recommendations.
- Manage the activities of their team by organizing, planning and controlling the optimal use of human, financial and material resources according to the budget, while promoting teamwork.
- Support the teams of our trusted networks for complaints related to estimates.
- Participate in various existing committees in the field of estimation and be aware of industry techniques.

**What you bring to the table**:

- College diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 to 5 years of management experience is an asset
- Knowledge of the appraisal process and software
- Experience and demonstrated leadership success factors within Intact
- Good analytical, synthesis and decision-making skills
- Project management and change management skills
- Can engage and mobilize your team
- Can build relationships based on trust and collaboration
- ** Bilingual is an asset**
