What you'll Do- Interpret and confirm insurance coverages- Investigate, evaluate, and settle Casualty claims with claimants or their representatives- Direct and manage file investigations and if required instruct IAs as needed- Ensure file reserves are timely and accurate- Proactively manage communication with our customers and stakeholders- Clearly document and summarize file activity- Understand and support Aviva’s claim procedures and guidelines- Regular and proactive reviews files strategy plans

What you’ll bring:
- University degree or equivalent- CIP or working towards CIP. Currently licensed or qualifies to be licensed to handle Casualty Claims in all Atlantic Provinces- 1-5 years of experience with Liability Claims- Strong working knowledge of litigation environment (Litigation Assistant, Para-legal)- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment- Strong working knowledge of Personal and Commercial liability claims- Exceptional written and oral communication skills- Well-developed organizational skills- Adaptability, flexibility and integrity- Committed team player with a positive outlook and sense of humor- Bilingual French and English is a strong asset
