**THE ROLE**:
As the Catering Sales Manager, you will be responsible for securing new business, managing catering sales, and coordinating food and beverage services with our third-party restaurant partner. This includes developing detailed event plans, ensuring seamless execution of events, and delivering superior customer satisfaction. The role also requires managing revenue goals and catering contracts, providing professional service, and collaborating with internal teams for smooth operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and manage the catering budget, providing accurate forecasts and tracking and analyzing variances in performance.
- Handle all aspects of catering sales, including inquiries, proposals, and contracts.
- Work closely with the third-party restaurant to ensure seamless planning and execution of events, including menu selection and customization, logistics coordination, and timely service.
- Collaborate with clients to detail all event and F&B requirements, ensuring satisfaction.
- Coordinate with hotel operations and restaurant teams for flawless execution of events.
- Plan and supervise all banquet activities, from the setup of banquet spaces to servicing events and breaking down rooms, ensuring a high level of quality service.
- Ensure detailed documentation of all event specifications in event orders (BEOs) and conduct weekly BEO meetings with the restaurant team.
- Review all client invoices prior to mailing to ensure accuracy and proper assessment of all services and goods rendered by the hotel.
- Ensure that the experience of the client is not merely satisfactory, but exceeds their expectations and those of attendees.
- Report on sales activities, revenue performance, and client feedback to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
- Manages the social segment, responding to all leads related to room blocks and event planning, regardless of the size or number of rooms. Additional segments may be assigned based on business needs.
- Address all catering inquiries across all segments.
- Meet with clients before the event to assist with AV setup and ensure everything is in order; check in throughout the day to confirm smooth operation.
- Develop, manage, and execute catering sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
- Monitor market trends to adjust sales strategies and capitalize on revenue opportunities.
- Attend networking events and conduct tastings and site visits.
- Set up and tear down event space for dry meetings and events that do not have minimum food and beverage requirements.
- Requisition supplies as needed and maintain adequate inventory levels to meet function needs.
- Maintain a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
