**As a **_Administrative Assistant _**, your main responsibilities are as below**:

- Work with Accounting where required.
- Work with regional staff and CIT to maintain / improve invoice timeliness.
- Work with Invoice and Payment Support Specialist to reduce past due.
- Generate reports and accrual tracking to facilitate payments.
- Work with regional contacts to troubleshoot invoice errors when needed.
- Track and monitor Purchase Order spend to reduce delays due to PO spend issues.
- Review invoices for Key accounts prior to sending.
- Generate spend/usage reports for Key accounts.
- Create plans to ensure submission accuracy and expedite payments.

**You are the ideal **_Administrative Assistant _**, if you have**:

- Possess a College Diploma.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; Good command of English.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and environmental laboratory project management.
- Ability to speak French would be an asset
- Ability to work independently as well as engage others, when required, in escalation of concerns to meet the client needs.
- Computer skills, including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and LIMs.
