Office Administrator/bookkeeper Assistant

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
We are seeking a highly motivated Bookkeeper/Administration assistant to join our progressive team, working in a professional office environment. This is a full time position for a detail-orientated individual to provide complete administrative support and reception duties. A minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience is recommended, construction industry related experience an asset.
**JOB DUTIES**
- Compile financial, accounting or auditing reports pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable with care and accuracy
- Answer incoming calls, greet and assist clients, type/file correspondence, and distribute incoming/outgoing mail
- Generate invoices for client billing and follow up with collections
- Reconcile bank statements with journal entries & spreadsheets as needed
- Check account balance weekly against known incoming and outgoing funds
- Review and run payroll payments
- Maintain an inventory of office supplies
- Work closely and provide key support to principals/owners
**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
- Excellent telephone, written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and own vehicle
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Minimum 3 years bookkeeping experience, construction related preferred
