As an HR Coordinator at RBR, you'll play a key role in facilitating the execution of our HR operational activities. You'll support employees and leaders across the company to promote employee engagement, support growth, and foster a positive culture within our organization. Your attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and employee success mindset will shine as you contribute to a positive employee experience and the growth of our team.
**What You'll Do**:
- Onboarding & Orientation:_
- Plan and coordinate new employee onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience that sets the stage for their success.
- Data Management:_
- Create and maintain employee records and profiles in our various systems: HRIS (ADP WFN), Dropbox, Confluence, and Jira.
- Conducting regular reporting on HR metrics and data audits will be part of your core responsibilities.
- Policies and Programs:_
- Help maintain, update, and draft HR operational processes, policies, and procedures that support our dynamic workforce.
- Employee Engagement and Experience:_
- Create positive and effective interactions with employees and leaders.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, plan exciting events, and facilitate feedback processes that make a genuine impact.
- Recruitment:_
- Work on social media initiatives and attend career fairs and recruitment events.
- Other:_
- Execute employee offboarding activities.
- Coordinate, monitor, and follow up on training and development initiatives.
- You'll be involved in other HR activities as required from facilitating benefits and retirement program enrollments to driving continuous improvement and automation efforts.

**Nice to Haves**:
- College diploma or university degree in HR, Commerce, or a related discipline
- Experience supporting Human Resources functions, ideally in a high-tech environment
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now, Jira, and Confluence

Since 1973, RBR has been designing and manufacturing oceanographic instruments in Ottawa, Ontario to measure our blue planet. The effects of climate change are being seen from the ocean’s abyss to the polar ice caps and our sensors quantify this change to support better analysis, improved planning, and more effective mitigation strategies.
