HR Coordinator

Baker Tilly Ottawa LLP is seeking a highly skilled HR Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Human Resources to support our people and drive business success.
Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies. You will be responsible for coordinating the recruitment process, including reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and liaising with recruiting firms and agencies.
You will also handle all administrative tasks for onboarding and new-hire orientation, including setting up employees in our human resources information system. Additionally, you will maintain employee personnel files using Bamboo HR platform and assist with performance management procedures.
The successful candidate will have a post-secondary degree in human resources or a related field and 2-3 years of experience as an HR coordinator. You will possess a full understanding of HR functions and best practices, as well as experience with Bamboo HR Platform.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and execute personnel procedures and policies
- Coordinate the recruitment process
- Assist with onboarding and new-hire orientation
- Maintain employee personnel files
- Assist with performance management procedures
- Produce and submit reports as required by partners
