**Supervisor Responsibilities**

This job has some supervisorial responsibilities.

**Summary**

The expectation of this position is that the employee performs their duties and responsibilities in an efficient and effective manner. Furthermore, the expectation is to perform these duties while working as a part of a team.

Employee Relations/Human Resource

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinates Investigations with CGC Head Office
- Coordinates and actions disciplinary actions as required.
- Resolves employee issues, and act as an employee’s resource. Escalates issues where needed.
- Manages the background check process.
- Manages HR case files, tracks data, and reports trends to Senior Management, while providing necessary corrective actions.
- Coordinates, actions, and analysis the violence and harassment survey, annually. Coordinate with CGC Head Office and report corrective actions to senior management.
- Maintains open line of communication and apprises the director of operation of all pertinent or critical items.
- Manages employee medical files.
- Creates, executes and annually analysis the employee recognition program. This may include but not limited to, implementing employee giveaways, organizing end of season recognition events, etc.
- May involve assisting in creating or customizing corporate policies/ expectations, to a stadium venue.

**Recruitment Duties and Responsibilities**
- Oversees all recruitment and staffing as per operational needs, including but not limited to following up with department heads on a bi-weekly or monthly basis (per needs) to review outstanding and ongoing recruitment needs.
- Fosters a collaborative working relationship with our client; and coordinates and communicates all recruitment activities to their HR Department.
- Plans overall recruitment calendar and plans independent job fairs and interview days. Books spaces and relevant resources; and executes recruitment events effectively.
- Analysis recruitment and staffing data, including deficiencies, turnover reports, etc. Reports recruitment data and activities to Senior Management on a monthly basis, while providing senior management with necessary corrective actions.
- Develops a collaborative working relationship with all community partners, and summary of resources available.
- Manages the implementation of recruitment media and tools specific to ongoing and changing needs.
- Coordinates with social media staff to communicate recruitment activities across platforms.
- Manages, updates, and refreshes job postings regularly, or as needed.

**Training Duties & Responsibilities**
- Oversees and executes all training requirements as per Compass Group Canada or government requirements. This includes; but is not limited to:

- Employee Orientation (Client and Corporate)
- Smart Serve Certification
- Annual Training Reviews on 24/7
- Management 201 Training
- Basic Food Safety Training
- Advanced food safety training
- First Aid Training/ Mental Health First Aid
- Forklift & Pallet Jack Training
- Job Specific Assessments/ Training on 24/7
- Chemical Training
- AODA Training
- Management 24/7 Modules
- WSIB Certification Training
- Safety Talk Pre-Shift Training
- Manages and analysis training and compliance data and shares data with Senior Management on a monthly basis.
- Identifies and addresses training deficiencies. Coordinates with Senior Management to plan corrective actions on deficiencies.

**Administrative Duties & Responsibilities**
- Continuously oversees employee file audit and policy compliance.
- Manages employee data, job codes, & classifications.
- Revises internal hourly compensation structure annually.
- Oversees and verifies payroll submissions and compliances.
- Ensures pay equity compliance.
- Plans and executes mass onboarding and off boarding process. Annually revises onboarding package.
- Oversees seasonal contract extensions.
- Investigates, validates and processes payroll adjustments, changes, and deficiencies.
- Oversees site credential process, if applicable.
- Manages and orders office supplies while following monthly budget guidelines.
- Manages the orders, planning, and inventory of uniforms.
- Manages department budget and schedule based of operational needs.
- Identifies process gaps and analysis and executes positive changes.

**Health and Safety Duties & Responsibilities**
- Involves working on health and safety initiatives; and addressing hazards in the work environment.
- Oversees Joint Health & Safety Committee.
- Manages workplace inspections with Joint Health Safety Committee and involve CGC head office when required.
- Oversees and ensures all employees follows general health & safety compliance, including CGC and government standards.
- Manages and executes safety talk program.
- Participates in event day safety walkthroughs. Coordinate with department supervisors/managers for corrective actions.
