We are looking for an HR Coordinator who is inspired by this philosophy As an HR Coordinator at ProSlide, you will play a pivotal role in supporting key HR areas. You will be an essential part of our Talent & Culture (HR) team, contributing to the development and execution of various HR functions, policies, and programs that empower our employees to reach their full potential.

Please note this is an in person position located at our head office in Ottawa.

**YOUR CHALLENGE**:
Recruitment & Onboarding:

- Collaborate with T&C Manager and hiring managers to create compelling job postings
- Perform phone interviews
- Coordinate interview scheduling and logistics
- Support the onboarding for new hires and contribute to the overall corporate onboarding strategy

Employee Relations & Engagement:

- Be a trusted point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns
- Contribute to a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives
- Assist with planning companywide social events
- Assist in resolving workplace issues and conflicts with empathy and discretion

Training & Development:

- Support the planning and coordination of training programs
- Work with managers to identify individual and team development needs
- Track health and safety training requirements and schedule training on an ongoing basis
- Monitor training progress and provide follow-up as necessary

Employee Benefits & Pension Administration:

- Assist employees with benefit inquiries and enrollment/offboarding processes
- Maintain compliance with regulations

HR Policies & Procedures:

- Help communicate and ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures
- Assist in policy development and updates as needed
- Participate in policy audits to maintain best practices

**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE**:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 1+ years of similar experience in a Human Resources function
- Exceptional relationship building skills and the ability to inspire trust and confidence with stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent communication skills, verbally and written
- Exceptional emotional intelligence with great critical thinking skills and the ability to identify, assess, diagnose needs and issues.
- Team player, excited to collaborate and willing to take the initiative to help out when needed.
- Highly organized, ability to change priorities as necessary to meet deadlines
- Desire to be in an innovative and fast paced culture
- Understand the importance of being detailed but always keep the big picture in mind
- Have a passion for forward-thinking and creative problem solving
