**BILLING COORDINATOR**
At Powerline Plus we focus on three main operations, Electrical, Civil Construction and Engineering & Design. Powerline Plus Ltd. provides quality solutions to public utilities, municipalities and developers, as well as to industrial, national and international manufacturing companies across the GTA.

Billing Coordinators at Powerline Plus Ltd. plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate all activities related to civil construction billing under the direction of the Billing Manager. This role involves a high level of multitasking, critical thinking and coordination to oversee and bill for numerous civil and electrical construction projects efficiently and effectively to ensure accuracy. This role will be 70% in the field and 30% in the office. Billing Coordinators participate actively and maintain ongoing relations with foremen, supervisors, project coordinators and management within the civil and electrical department.
**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Completion of College Diploma in Project Management, Project Estimating, Civil Engineering, Construction Techniques or other related discipline required
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction billing in a large construction company, preferably within utility, natural gas or telecommunications sector required (asset)
- Ability to read, comprehend and interpret complex blue prints and drawings without supervision required
- Valid ‘G’ Driver’s License with clean driver’s abstract required
- Must be able to work outdoors in adverse conditions such as: heat exposure, cold temperatures, rain, snow etc.
- Ability to gather, collect, assess and report critical information
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office required
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Reading, comprehending and interpreting blue prints and drawings
- Visiting multiple different project sites to take precise measurements to maintain the highest level of billing accuracy
- Maintain a constant line of communication with civil foreman, supervisors and project managers to ensure all photos and measurements are reflective of actual work being completed
- Preparing change orders and additional supporting documentation for submission to clients for approval as well as to third part auditors as necessary
- Preparing and submitting invoices (UPCMS) to clients and third party auditors on a monthly basis
- Various administrative tasks as required including but not limited to; scanning, photocopying, inputting information into various spreadsheets and databases
