**Job Summary**
**Duties**:
- Manage all front desk activities, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries
- Supervise front desk staff and provide training as needed
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts
- Handle guest complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
**Experience**:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in phone etiquette
- Knowledge of hotel operations, guest services, and front desk procedures
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
- Familiarity with phone systems and reservation software
Join our team as a Front Desk Supervisor to lead our front desk team in providing exceptional customer service to our guests.
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 42 per week
Flexible language requirement:
- English not required
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Thunder Bay, ON P7A 4B3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
