Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person or department
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and processing mail
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock levels and placing orders as needed
- Assist with filing, organizing, and maintaining documents and records
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Provide general administrative support such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing documents
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings
- Support the office manager with various tasks as assigned

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as an office assistant or in a similar administrative role is preferred
- Proficiency in using office equipment such as printers, copiers, and scanners
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Familiarity with phone systems and customer support best practices
- Basic knowledge of proofreading techniques for reviewing documents
