**About Atlas Group of Companies**
The Atlas Group of Companies (The Atlas Corporation, Atlas Dewatering & Primrose Contracting Inc), has well over seventy years’ experience in the construction industry and is looking for an Administrative Assistant to assist the Senior Management Team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage the Estimating inbox, download tender documents and set up estimating folders.
- Manage incoming estimating phone calls.
- Ensure reception area, boardrooms and kitchen are tidy.
- Photocopy, print, scan, and fax documents as required.
- Receiving and distributing incoming mail, couriers and redirecting to the appropriate staff.
- Complete weekly timecards for all field staff.
- Assist in the hiring process by posting jobs, downloading resumes, setting up interviews etc.
- Overseeing office supplies and services, including restocking supplies, relocating employees to new areas, setting up desks, cell phones and equipment for new hires.
- Reconciling visas and reporting.
- Assist in COR certification and maintain ongoing certification for The Atlas Group of Companies.
- Review and revise, as necessary, the H&S program and book training for all employees.
- Collect and maintain H&S related documentation for COR including updating bulletin boards, JHSC minutes, training records, incident reports.
- Complete Health and Safety Start up documents for new jobs.
- Complete all new employee H&S orientations.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings and social events as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications and Required Experience**:
- Post secondary degree/diploma in business or office administration
- Minimum 3 years of administrative assistant experience
- Experience using Adobe Professional
- Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to prioritize work in an efficient and organized manner
- Highly developed evaluative and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated high level of judgment, tact and diplomacy in interacting with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work well independently, as well as, within a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with many interruptions and multiple priorities
- Valid Class G Driver’s License a requirement
Pay: $46,022.00-$52,000.00 per year
