**Qualifications / Requirements**

**Jani-King** is seeking a **Business Development Manager** to assist in the opening and establishment of our new **London, ON **regional support centre. This consultative sales professional will be responsible for new business development throughout a variety of verticals which include Commercial Real Estate, Higher Education, Medical Office Buildings and Retail Centers. Primary responsibilities include:

- Assist in the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans, sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for the Janitorial Services Division
- Prospect through innovative lead generation tools and leverage existing advanced and dedicated social media opportunities
- Perpetuate and amplify a professional local brand to enhance the **Jani-King** brand to attract a following of targeted connections and relationships
- Identify and recognize the unique buyer in the buying process map to leverage and nurture connections to productive relationships
- Establish relationships with potential clients to distinguish the **Jani-King** brand from the current provider and deliver tailored solutions professionally and effectively
- Execute marketing plans through cold calling, networking and leveraging internal and external referrals
- Monitor competitor products, sales, and marketing activities
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
- Strategically coordinate schedule/travel to optimize client meetings throughout the assigned territory
- Meet with key clients and maintain relationships in negotiating and closing deals
- Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials and events
- Represent **Jani-King** at trade association meetings to promote services
- Liaison between sales and operations
- Assist other departments within organization to prepare manuals and technical publications
- Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
- Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness

**REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a team-oriented sales environment that allows for collaboration with the operations team in identifying and resolving issues and concerns
- Proven track record of excellence in sales activity (awards, top rankings, etc.) using consultative sales techniques
- A true hunter with the ability to leverage social media and professional networks (i.e. LinkedIn) to prospect and follow up with consistency. Attend professional networking and community events when appropriate
- Superior, world class interpersonal and communication skills as well as solid writing skills
- Dedication to high quality customer service delivery and integrity through proven client and customer relationships
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to strategically plan sales calls, sales presentations and cold calling
- Highly effective leader with the ability to build strong relationships internally with all levels of the organization and manage under difficult service delivery timeframes
- Sales training on strategic consultative selling techniques
- Experience using a formal, defined sales process
- Ability to travel throughout all areas of the territory

Excellent Commissions and Bonus package

**Salary**: $62,000.00 per year
