We provide a wide variety of business services to small and medium sized businesses, as well as individuals.

We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our team in a dynamic role with growth opportunity. Our new team member will help to ensure the workplace runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills and ability to answer client questions, communicate effectively with clients in writing, over the phone and in person
- Knowledge and exposure to client government remittances an asset
- Reliability and flexibility
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Ability to take initiative and make decisions within job scope
- Capable of managing demanding situations and deadlines
- Manage time and work independently with mínimal supervision
- Tax preparation experience an asset

The role will involve:

- Managing and coordinating office operations
- Will be responsible for working directly with clients
- All aspects of client bookkeeping - accounts payable/receivable, payroll, government remittances
- Greet office guests, answer phones and direct calls
- Assist in ongoing projects and initiatives that are constantly changing

**Requirements**:

- Quickbooks or Quickbooks online experience: 2 years
- Bookkeeping: 2 years
- Fluency in English

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Retention bonus
