Bookkeeper Job Description:
**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, using accounting software
- Record daily sales transactions, including cash receipts, credit card transactions, and financing agreements
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements, and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage and process payroll, including calculating and recording payroll taxes and other withholdings
- Monitor inventory and assist with physical inventory counts
- Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local tax regulations
- Overlook the finalized deals and ensure accurate documentation
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures
- Collaborate with other members of the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Minimum of 1 years of experience working in a car dealership environment.
- Pay off vehicles on floor plan

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar role
- Proficient in QuickBooks or other accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

**Salary**: From $21.00 per hour
