We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Business Development Manager to join our team and help lead the charge in the renewable energy industry. As the Business Development Manager, you will be an essential part of our team, responsible for driving business growth, identifying new opportunities, and building strategic partnerships.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Strategic Planning and Development. **Develop and implement effective business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the customer base.

**Market Analysis and Research. **Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of competitors.

**Sales Funnel Management. **Design, build, and optimize sales funnels to efficiently convert leads into customers. Ensure that the sales funnel stages are clearly defined and automated to streamline the customer journey.

**Sales Automation. **Leverage automation tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of sales processes, including lead nurturing, follow-ups, and communication workflows. Implement systematic follow-up procedures to enhance customer engagement and conversion rates.

**Partnership and Vendor Relations. **Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and strategic partners to ensure the availability of products and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.

**Customer Relationship Management. **Foster strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

**Reporting and Analysis.** Set business development targets, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback to ensure the team meets or exceeds goals. Generate and analyze business development reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to make data-driven decisions and report on performance to senior management.

**Product Knowledge. **Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, and effectively communicate their value to customers and partners.

**Team Leadership. **Lead and inspire a team of dedicated business development professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve business targets and deliver exceptional customer service. This role involves hiring, building, and training teams to scale operations.

**Process Optimization. **Continuously improve and streamline business development processes to maximize efficiency and reduce operational costs.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in business development, particularly in a retail or renewable energy setting.
- Proven experience in setting up sales funnels and building sales teams.
- Proficiency with CRM software like Zendesk and Close CRM.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Knowledge of solar energy systems and products (not necessary, but nice to have).
- Strong commitment to sustainability and clean energy.

**Compensation**: This role offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary of $60,000 to $80,000 CAD, including bonus and commission opportunities.

**Job Type**: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
