Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Location: 12340 Horseshoe Way, Richmond, B.C, V7A 4Z1

Reports to: Human Resources Manager

Position Overview:
Please find the key responsibilities of this position is as follows:

- Assist in drafting and posting job advertisements across various platforms.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Conduct preliminary phone screenings and in-person interviews.
- Collect and organize interview feedback for decision-making.
- Coordinate new employee onboarding processes, including documentation and orientation sessions.
- Ensure smooth integration of new hires, providing them with the necessary tools and information.
- Prepare onboarding materials and facilitate introductions to team members.
- Assist HR team with employee performance reviews.
- Maintain performance records and follow up on required documentation.
- Support the implementation of performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Create and maintain employment contracts for new hires and contract renewals.
- Assist in the development and management of HR templates for consistency and efficiency.
- Assist in coordinating WorkSafeBC claims and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide administrative support in managing workplace safety documentation.
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- High emotional intelligence (EQ) to navigate sensitive situations and foster positive workplace relationships.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating across departments.
- Familiarity with recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Knowledge of employment contract creation and WorkSafeBC regulations is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- On-the-job training will be provided and evaluated upon completion.
