We are seeking a compassionate and organized Human Services Coordinator to join our team at Western Human Resource Corp.

**Job Summary:**

The Human Services Coordinator will provide support services to clients in a group home setting. This role involves preparing reports, assessing client needs, implementing life skills workshops, and conducting follow-up assessments.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Prepare reports or case histories
  • Appraise clients' needs or eligibility for specific services
  • Implement life skills workshops
  • Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs
  • Conduct follow-up assessments
  • Develop, co-ordinate and implement the delivery of specific services within the community
  • Housekeeping activities
  • Food preparation
  • Resolve conflict situations
  • Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses
  • Implement behaviour management programs
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients
  • Develop service intervention logic models and outcome measures
  • Maintain program statistics for purposes of evaluation and research
  • Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of treatment programs
  • Screen, recruit and train volunteers and support staff
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social outings

  • Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
  • Behaviour management Certification
  • Food allergy and anaphylaxis training
  • Intensive behavioural intervention Certification
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate
  • Medication Administration Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate

**Work Environment:**

This is a physically demanding position that requires working on-site in a group home setting. A valid driver's licence is required for transportation purposes.

**What We Offer:**

  • An estimated salary of $50,000 - $60,000 per year
