**About the job**:

- Work remotely with a flexible part-time schedule
- Directly connect with CANAAF members to offer support and resources
- Updating CANAAF website, sending e-newsletters, help plan charity events, and more
- A great fit for someone who has experience with alopecia and enjoys helping others

**Other responsibilities**:

- Perform regular updates to the CANAAF website including adding new content, events, and updating online forms.
- Design relevant and interesting e-newsletters for the CANAAF member list through Constant Contact to educate, guide and inform members.
- Schedule and attend Zoom meetings between the CANAAF Board of Directors and the organization’s partners, stakeholders, volunteers, and affiliates.
- Attend monthly CANAAF Board meetings and provide a report on activity, membership updates, and new opportunities
- Assist with CANAAF’s annual conference planning, registration and coordination of the event.
- Attend the Annual National conference and bi-annaul GTA Support sessions.
- Report to the Executive Board i.e. the President, Vice-President and Treasurer of the organization

**Skills and Qualities**:

- 1 year of administrative experience or digital marketing experience
- Clear understanding of Alopecia Areata and how it impacts individuals affected
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Superb verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with any of the following considered an asset: Wordpress, Constant Contact, Canva, hosting Zoom meetings, creating events on Eventbrite, Google Workspace

The Canadian Alopecia Areata Foundation supports individuals affected by alopecia, promotes awareness and education about this autoimmune disease, and raises funds for research. CANAAF is made up of a dedicated, diverse, and vibrant team of volunteers who have been impacted by alopecia. We are committed to helping Canadians affected by Alopecia Areata find support and guidance during their difficult, and often cyclical journey. All of us at CANAAF work together with compassion and kindness to create a better world for those with alopecia. **Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
