**Administrative Assistant Position**

**Role at Leda**:
**1.** **Administrative support**
- Greet clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and board room reservations
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Provide support to the partners of the firm
- Type and format correspondences, reports, and other documents
- Assemble financial statements and corporate tax client packages
- Assemble personal tax client packages
- Create and maintain client files and data entry system

**2.** **Client interaction**
- Onboard new clients
- Send documents to clients for electronic signature
- Assist with client questions and inquiries or direct them to the appropriate accountant
- Coordinate client meetings and appointments

**3.** **Accounting and bookkeeping support (basic)**
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks
- Assist accountants with preliminary year end file preparation
- Assist with T4s, T5s and personal income tax returns

**4.** **Office organization and maintenance**
- Manage office supplies and inventory
- Ensure office is clean, organized and presentable
- Coordinate office maintenance and repairs and necessary

**Skills & Experience**
- Post-secondary education in administration is considered an asset
- Administrative experience in an accounting firm environment is considered an asset
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong team-player attitude; needs to work well under pressure and be adaptable in the face of changing priorities
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High degree of discretion and integrity, especially when taking care of confidential information
- Work independently and follow through on assignments and special projects with mínimal direction
- Commitment to always present yourself in a professional manner
- Exceptional attention to detail
