Procurement Coordinator, Ft

Reporting to Director of Strategic Sourcing & Logistics (SS&L) the Procurement Coordinator
will focus on SS&L Compliance, supporting Public Procurement laws and directives, Indicators. Co-ordinate ESG (Economic Social Governance) priorities with procurement activities. Support Senior Procurement Coordinators with drafting Limited Tenders, capital equipment sourcing, GPO Initiatives/projects and product conversions.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Administrates BPS, BOBIA and Bill S-211 regulatory requirements, prepare pertinent information including providing reports and annual submissions
- Draft policies that support service level standards and continuous improvement of procurement practices
- Supports, educates, and provides guidance to SS Team on Trade Agreements to ensure procurement compliance and its associated procurement reporting to government agencies
- Liaison between departments and suppliers ensuring compliance and direction pertaining to provincial and federal legislation
- Maintains Ontario attested vendors' database and vendor Key Performance Indicators
- Represent SS on NH ESG committee and participate on external ESG/EDI committees' NH
- Serve as a liaison and maintain a collaborative relationship with the SS&L team and all Interested Applicable Parties (IAP) through their roles and responsibilities for products conversions
- Scribe Business Cases, Limited Tenders and product conversions
- Assist in development of RFP stakeholders' requirements and specifications as required
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, presentations, communications, and training materials
- Other duties as assigned
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Graduate of Business Administration undergraduate degree or related study
- NISCL-CSCL Designation is preferred
- Proven strong self starter
- Experience in research and writing
- Demonstrated experience to influence change
- Ability to inspire others to persist and strive for excellence, take measured risks and participate with enthusiasm during periods of complexity and/or change
- Proven presentation skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and solve problems
- Demonstrated ability to handle a large and diversified workload with often rapidly changing priorities and challenging deadlines is essential while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills, with the ability to communicate effectively
- Advanced skill level required for MS Word, Power Point, and Outlook
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize activities
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and as a team player
- Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset
