We are searching for a Office Coordinator to join our Parkland at the Lakes Phase 2 team based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

**Approximate Hours of Work**: 830am-430pm, Monday - Friday

About the Opportunity

Responsible for entering charges on resident accounts, preparing resident monthly billings, and managing overdue accounts;
Maintaining resident business files, addressing account concerns, maintaining resident information system and monthly admission, discharges, and transfers;
Coordinates and maintains processes for financial disbursements;
Accepts and writes receipts for cheques or cash payments from clients, family or visitors according to facility policies;
Develops and tracks purchase orders as necessary;
Works with the Concierge regarding purchase orders, invoice approvals, provide POs to Management when needed;
Maintains archived paper and electronic documents as per facility guidelines;
Perform other related duties as required.

About You

Diploma in accounting or equivalent experience in using accounting software;
Previous supervisory/team lead experience is considered an asset;
Knowledge of Great Plains accounting software is considered an asset;
Previous experience in working with seniors’ or health related industry is considered an asset;
You can provide a clear Criminal Record Check
A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
