**Overview**:
We are looking for an Administrative and Accounting Assistant to join our team. This role will focus primarily on accounts payable, purchasing and general administrative tasks to support our team.
**Duties**:
- **Accounts Payable & Receivable**: Process invoices, payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- **Purchasing**: Assist in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials; maintain records of purchases, pricing, and supplier details.
- **Shipping Support**: Coordinate import/export documentation and ensure compliance with regulations; collaborate with the logistics team to streamline shipping and receiving activities.
- **Clerical Support**: Handle filing, data entry, and distribution of accounting documents.
- **Financial Records**: Maintain precise and accurate records to support accounting functions.
Qualifications:
- **Experience**: Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, with a focus on purchasing, accounts payable and receivable.
- **Technical Skills**:
- Proficiency in **SAGE 50**.
- Strong command of **Microsoft Office Suite** (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- **Language Skills**: Bilingual in **French and English** (essential).
- **Attributes**:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage priorities and work autonomously.
- Strong interpersonal skills for maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
