**Internal Communications Specialist**

**Full Time**, 15-month contract starting mid-July**

We are looking for an Internal Communications Specialist to join us for 15 months to and execute the internal communications strategy for our organization. Reporting to the Director, Global Marketing, this role will collaborate with key stakeholders, including regular interaction with Talent Management and the CEO office, to engage employees, strengthen the company’s culture and ensure all internal communication is clear, consistent, and aligned with the company’s goals and values.

**What you will do**:

- Execute the internal communications strategy for the organization, including key messaging, communication channels, and tactics
- Create and deliver compelling content that engages employees and strengthens the company’s culture
- Maintain a content calendar to ensure that internal communications are timely and relevant
- Identify innovative ways to communicate and engage a diverse, global employee base, including top-down, bottom-up and lateral communication strategies
- Develop employee engagement networks and gain peer-to-peer feedback
- Ensure materials are translated when appropriate
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications and make recommendations for improvement based on feedback

**Skills and qualifications for success**:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in communications, marketing or journalism
- 3+ years of relevant experience preferred
- Proficiency in oral and written communication skills and ability to leverage modern and innovative communication tactics
- A collaborative and passionate attitude about people, strategy, and success of the organization
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to oversee and drive multiple projects at once
- Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels
- A strong eye for design - ability to oversee content creation with strong graphics and imagery
- Highly computer savvy with Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams); basic design tools (Canva); and web tools
