We are currently seeking a Beef Specialist to join our growing team. Working closely with the Marketing and Product Development teams, this role will be responsible for providing marketing and product support within Semex.

**What you will do**:

- Beef marketing support inclusive of developing content for marketing collateral, website, and social media
- Coordination of product catalogues, ensuring appropriate layout, picture selection and product information
- Coordination of advertising materials, videos, digital promotion, and tradeshow preparation
- Provide technical expertise in responding to technical inquiries both internally and from customers
- Support Beef Product Development Department by reporting on production and product releases; monitoring and reporting on embryo production, implants pregnancies and calving status; calf registrations, transfers, genomic test requests and financial reporting; sire contract creation and follow through to payment
- Support beef embryo sales by developing marketing materials aligning both the customer and producer

**What you need to be successful**:

- Post-Secondary Education in agri-business or science
- Practical experience in commercial and purebred beef industry as well as beef on dairy knowledge
- Strong understanding of beef cattle genetics, including EPDs and their relevance
- Proficiency in MS Office, Canva, and various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), along with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner while collaborating with various teams
