**Internal Auditor, Intermediate**

The Auditor, Intermediate position is responsible for working as a member of the Internal Audit team participating in all aspects of the audit process to review current disclosure and internal control processes necessary for compliance to all securities regulatory requirements. This role involves significant global travel.

**Performance Expectations**
- Responsible for the identification and documentation of all current disclosure controls and procedures of the organization, as necessary using various text and chart methodologies.
- Evaluate and comment on existing or potential procedural and business control deficiencies in the organization’s current control procedures.
- Identify and evaluate procedural changes to optimize current processes for greater efficiency and/or effectiveness.
- Ensure that appropriate, accurate and timely communication is relayed to all individuals directly or indirectly affected by any changes implemented.
- Direct the implementation of any approved changes to ensure risk management and governance processes throughout Linamar’s operating groups.
- Identify and monitor key performance results that will confirm quality implementation of controls.
- Able to present findings to managers and supervisors.
- Other duties assigned as needed.

**Credentials**
- Post-Secondary Education in Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
- CPA designation.
- Previous experience auditing public companies.
- Understanding of all legislative and regulatory corporate governance requirements, as well as disclosure control elements/features.
- Excellent knowledge of internal control elements/features, as related to a public traded organization.
- Ability to read and understand financial statements.
- Ability to identify corporate governance issues.
- Continuously maintain current knowledge of all related Acts and Regulations.
