Maxxit Systems Inc. works closely with architects and contractors to translate design intent into beautiful, durable, easy-to-install architectural components for commercial and retail projects across North America. With manufacturing facilities in Toronto Ontario, Maxxit specializes in design assist, project management, and fabrication of innovative interior and exterior architectural solutions.

**ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY**

The Program Coordinator is a multifaceted role acting as an effective liaison between the project management team and the manufacturing floor. They will manage, organize, and communicate all aspects of the assigned program plan to a variety of internal and external stakeholders, while ensuring high quality output to Maxxit clients on time and within budget.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Work closely with the program team, including project managers, project coordinators, production manager and production staff to manage all aspects of an assigned program.
- Managing an assigned program includes but is not limited:

- Reviewing and coordinating the program plan with the project team.
- Receiving and accounting for each component from both internal and external producers.
- Follow up when components are not received on expected and communicated deadlines.
- Ensure all materials received from both internal and external partners are quality checked on arrival and prior to client shipments.
- Schedules and directs production staff in coordination with the production manager on program work assignments and tasks.
- Works with the production team to design packaging and or crating for each component to ensure damage free shipment to clients.
- Occasional shop work when required, typically on urgent or tight deadlines.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- An ability to interpret and understand shop drawings and turn them into step-by-step action plans for managing program components.
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, manage competing priorities according to changing demands.
- Strong leadership skills with the demonstrated ability to lead and encourage, set clear parameters, and hold employees accountable.
- Attention to detail, creativity, self-initiating, positive attitude, with a quality improvement approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, tact, and diplomacy.
- Ability to think critically and analytically.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Ability to learn and understand the portfolio of Maxxit materials and finishes.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite; Smartsheet, Bluebeam REVU and eDrawings (viewing DWG + SolidWorks files) would be an asset.
