Appliance Sales Manager

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Appliance Sales Manager to join our team.
Salt & Pepper has been providing top quality cabinets, appliances, flooring, and house hold products, serving Brantford and surrounding area for over 8 years. We have a unique store that offers customers the ultimate shopping experience.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Appliance Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive growth in our appliance department.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets for appliances.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to deliver exceptional customer service and meet individual and team goals.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing expert guidance on appliance products.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure a well-curated and competitive product selection.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Implement effective sales training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
- Oversee inventory management, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to optimize sales performance.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in appliance sales, with a successful track record in a managerial role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and guide a sales team.
- In-depth knowledge of the appliance industry, including product features, specifications, and market trends.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

**General Job Outline**:
- Interact with customers and assist them in making product choices according to their individual needs.
- Successfully educate customers on product quality, design, style
- Prepare quotes, order material and schedule installations if needed
- Contribute to the daily sales targets and store goals
- Upkeep the store in order to maintain the integrity of all merchandising displays
- Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the Salt & Pepper Team.

**Requirements**:
Experience in selling retail major home appliances (5 years) required. Must have knowledge and understand the home appliance business.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Valid driver's license for site measures (G License)
- Fluent in Microsoft Office, PC & Internet use
