Job Title: Sales/Technical Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team at Rubber Group. This individual will be responsible for managing regional rubber and plastics accounts in the United States and key accounts designated to them.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with other account managers for accounts that span multiple regions/product lines.
  • Find, track, and close on opportunities spanning multiple industries.
  • Communicate clearly the value Rubber Group and its products bring to its clients.
  • Listen to customer needs and translate that into opportunities.
  • Collect and compile customer, market, and competitive information.
  • Develop and update sales forecasts for planning.
  • Build respect and trust between Rubber Group and our clients, facilitating strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to meet customer needs.
  • Participate in local industry organizations and attend trade shows relevant to our products.
Requirements:
  • Collaboration – embodies a team player approach with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Communication – exceptional oral, written, and communication skills. Demonstrates ability to converse in chemical/polymer terminology.
  • Education – Bachelor's degree with preference to polymers or related fields. Higher level of education is an asset. Technical understanding of polymers and related materials is preferred.
  • Work Experience – minimum 5 years of sales or technical sales in the rubber industry.
  • Motivation – self-starter who is capable of working independently while producing results.
  • Organization – possesses the ability to analyze, collect, and track large amounts of information.

Salary/commission and bonuses will be established and offered based on experience and capabilities.
