Sales/Technical Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team at Rubber Group. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing regional rubber and plastics accounts in the United States and key accounts designated to you.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Develop and execute sales strategies for assigned accounts to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with other account managers for accounts that span multiple regions/product lines to ensure seamless execution and maximize sales opportunities.
- Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Find, track, and close on opportunities spanning multiple industries to drive business growth and expansion.
- Communicate Value Proposition: Communicate clearly the value Rubber Group and its products bring to its clients to build strong relationships and drive sales growth.
- Customer Relationship Management: Listen to customer needs and translate that into opportunities to build strong relationships and drive sales growth.
- Market and Competitive Intelligence: Collect and compile customer, market, and competitive information to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.
- Sales Forecasting: Develop and update sales forecasts for planning to ensure accurate sales projections and drive business growth.
- Relationship Building: Build respect and trust between Rubber Group and our clients to facilitate strong relationships and drive sales growth.
- Collaboration with Internal Departments: Collaborate with internal departments to meet customer needs and drive sales growth.
- Industry Participation: Participate in local industry organizations and attend trade shows relevant to our products to stay up-to-date on industry trends and drive business growth.
- Travel Requirements: Travel > 70% of time, including to Rubber Group HQ in Ontario, Canada.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Embodies a team player approach with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional oral, written, and communication skills. Demonstrates ability to converse in chemical/polymer terminology.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree with preference to polymers or related fields. Higher level of education is an asset. Technical understanding of polymers and related materials is preferred. Minimum 5 years of sales or technical sales in the rubber industry.
- Motivation and Self-Direction: Self-starter who is capable of working independently while producing results.
- Organization and Analytical Skills: Possesses the ability to analyze, collect, and track large amounts of information.
Salary, commission, and bonuses will be established and offered based on experience and capabilities.
