Key Account Manager, Retail

As a Key Account Manager for our Retail North American Co-Manufacturer business, you will be asked to use your business and analytical skills to grow and retain revenue with existing and new partners. Working strategically with partners to negotiate creative customer solutions, this position will require you to use your influencing and selling skills to interact with Consumer Packaged Goods Manufacturers within North America to drive profitable growth.
**Responsibility**
**Business Management**:
- Be the daily contact for existing and new customers. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a customer solution
- Deliver in year and future profitable sales growth by understanding customer needs and building effective long-term partnerships
- Work closely with PMO to deliver on new product launches, line extensions and pack changes
- Build out annual AOP to align with customer forecasts and business delivery. Lead S+OP for your portfolio, and course correct as needed through utilization of financial results, sales forecast and market conditions
**Grow existing business & Create New business**:
- Diversify customer base by targeting new opportunities that align with Tradition Fine Foods value proposition and capabilities
- Act as voice of the customer and lead all internal presentations on performance metrics and make recommendations to the business on new opportunities and risks
- Build, own and manage a customer database for in year and future opportunities
**Sales fundamentals**
- Own key sales metrics
- Build tactical account plans
- Support senior management with contract negotiations by providing strategic input
**Technical aptitude**
- Understand Tradition value proposition, capabilities and processes
- Provide input to pricing models and variables to deliver mutually profitable solutions
**Requirement**
- 5+ years of Sales / Account Management experience in the retail food industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Business
- Previous experience growing a portfolio
- Can do approach, ability to build and foster relationships both internally and externally with integrity and trust
- Entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with a proven ability to work independently to deliver results
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required
- Strong Financial acumen
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products
- Proven ability to create collaborative solutions for customers with a cross functional team
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills required
- Experience working with or in a Co-man is an advantage
- Able to understand data and risk (Analytic skills)
- Strong attention to details and accuracy
- Problem solving and escalation skills
- Able to lead cross functional meetings as required
- Advance knowledge of Excel and SAP required
**Working Conditions**

- This is hybrid role, minimum 3 days/week in the office
