The People and Culture team is seeking an organized and efficient administrator to help maintain an excellent level of service. If you enjoy being considered a system-expert and love helping people, this could be the position you’ve been waiting for.
In this role, you will help new employees through the onboarding process, ensuring required documents are uploaded in a timely manner. You will also serve as the main point of contact for the HR helpdesk, assisting where possible and delegating to specific messages. You will use your problem-solving skills when employees need guidance navigating our Human Resources Information System (HRIS). **Position Responsibilities**
- Maintain HR databases and HRIS systems
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and follow privacy guidelines and best practices
- Act as primary point of contact for the HR Helpdesk, respond to employee inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
- Draft offer letters, transfer letters, change of position letters, and confirmation of employment letters
- Facilitate new hires through the onboarding process, conduct orientation presentations
- Organize and maintain employee files regarding new hires, changes of status and termination; including all HRIS data entry and filing
- Administration of the Employee Referrals Program
- Manage and eliminate duplicate records to ensure data integrity across all platforms, follow proper document naming procedures
**What You’ll Need**
- 1+ years of experience in an HR administrative role
- 1+ year of administrator level HRIS experience
- A friendly and solution-focused attitude
- Clear and efficient communication style
- Business Administration certificate or diploma
- Ability to make others feel like the Y is a place where all can belong
- Able to obtain a Police Information Check and Vulnerable sector and where Child Intervention/Enhanced Security check
