The Shared Service Group is a team of service-minded individuals who are passionate about ensuring smart, customer-focused business processes are developed and followed. **About the Position**:
Reporting to the Manager, Compensation & People Operations, the People & Culture Operations Advisor is a HRIS super-user and has a strong understanding People & Culture operations process. They will also provide exceptional service experiences to our employees, people leaders, and team members.

The People & Culture Operations Advisor generates reports and information for use within the People & Culture team, senior leaders, and regulatory reporting. They will support and administer People & Culture programs, processes**,** and procedures such as employee leave programs, on-boarding support and assisting employees and/ or people leader with self-service offerings. The position also supports the exchange of People & Culture information from our employees, people leaders, payroll, and the People & Culture team.

**General responsibilities include**:

- Produce and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual employee reporting and information
- Support workforce planning activities by providing key analytics, data, and analysis
- Provide HRIS (ADP) systems administration and support
- Research and resolve system problems, documenting processes and results
- Audit new hires, leaves, return to work, changes, and terminations with an understanding of the various employment status types and conditions of collective agreements
- Lead file management and maintenance processes for digital and hard copy employee files
- Provide guidance and support for the development of internal Operations processes and how-to documentation, forms and workflows, communications and ADP forms library management
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of employee and people leader self-service platforms
- Maintain and develop People & Culture content on Connect (intranet site)
- Provide guidance and support to teammates on employee and manager questions and inquiries
- Represent People & Culture on various committees and teams as required
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in related field
- 2 - 3 years experience in a human resources or finance related position
- Experience with data analysis, data integrity, process improvement, and/or data reporting
- Preference will be given to experience working in a unionized human resource department
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to identify a key issue, gather information and determine appropriate solutions
- Ability to see the big picture, to support the development of effective processes and workflows with an eye for continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and resources effectively
- Strong attention to detail
- Professionalism when dealing with confidential and sensitive information
- Proficiency with MS365
- Experience with an HRIS system, preference given to ADP experience
